When Dreams Come True: A Tribute to Team India

Thank you for bringing smiles to the faces of 140 crore Indians. Yes, we friends may be a little biased in understanding your situation when we lose, but it's also true that we cry with heartbreak and rejoice when we lift the trophy. We share the same emotions you live on the field.

Yesterday, as the match progressed ball by ball, our heartbeats raced higher and higher. It all started in the second over when Rohit and Pant were sent back to the pavilion. When Surya came in during the fourth over, the hopes of 140 crore Indians rested on King Kohli. As they say, "जब मामले बड़े होते है, किंग कोहली खड़े होते है" (When the stakes are high, King Kohli stands tall). He delivered his maiden fifty when it was most needed. It was incredible to see Axar and his sixes calming our nerves. Dubey did his job well at the end.

With a decent total on the board, things seemed under control until the storm named Klaasen hit the pitch. Slowly, our heartbeats sank and my heart felt like it was on a ventilator, but my eyes remained glued to the field, not blinking for a moment to not miss anything. Each six by Klaasen and shot by Miller made our hearts sink further, but then Hardik's over came. When the ball found Pant's gloves after touching Klaasen's bat, it gave our hearts a glimmer of hope.

Everyone's hands were folded in prayer, hoping against hope until SKY shone, not with his bat this time, but with a thrilling catch. Our hopes emerged from the ventilator, now wishing for the best. And when the last ball was bowled, everyone's eyes were filled with tears. Tears of happiness, tears of hope, tears of relief. Tears from finally crossing that line we've been longing to touch.

Thank you, Team India, for making the dreams of 140 crore Indians come true. Indians who weren't in the stadium but turned their homes into their own cricket grounds. This time, our collective spirit showed that we can achieve this together.

All the best for the future.
